The Yardley Gobion Pre-School group provides a formulative-years educational and play environment for children aged two and a half years to school age.

They provide sessions in the Yardley Gobion Children's Centre from 9:30am to 12 midday each weekday during school term dates. The cost of a session is £4.50. The Pre-School group is registered with OFSTED and receives Nursery grants for those children eligible.

The teaching staff are fully qualified for early-years development and play and provide structured sessions of play and stimulating learning in a fun environment. 

In the summer term, the Pre-School staff also provide Rising 5's sessions one afternoon a week to help prepare those children soon to start school. These sessions provide opportunities for school liaison visits in addition to those provided by the School itself for new-starters.
